The Baby Room (0-1 year)

The Baby room is a spacious room equipped with a wide range of toys and equipment to stimulate and encourage development, focusing on colours, textures, sounds and light there is also a soft play area where children can develop their movement whilst having fun.

The caring team of experienced staff plan these activities ensuring that all areas of development are covered which their age group requires, whilst maintaining individual needs that a child may have. Walks within the grounds are common place weather permitting, either in buggies or during the summertime in the garden.

The Tweenie Room (1-2 years)

The Tweenie room moves on a stage to further develop and encourage children in activities to stimulate and interact more with other children and staff. Giving the children opportunities through play to become more independent at play and develop self help and self reliance skills. This is achieved by role play, art and crafts, messy play (foam/gloop etc), free play time, outdoor play and other activities that are implemented by staff to develop these skills in the learning and development process.

The Toddler Room (2-3 years)

The Toddler room comprises of two rooms, the first is utilised to provide children with an environment for a mix of planned energetic play and quieter time activities. Children are given time to play and learn, independently choosing initiating and exploring their own activities freely. Nursery nurses monitor and guide these choices with direction towards giving the children the full opportunity to develop and learn whilst also time for activities which need more support and direction from staff.

The second room is utilized as a sleep room after lunch time and an additional playroom/adult focused activity room throughout the day whereby small groups of children can experience an activity and staff can observe and monitor a child's progress and level of development.
